The Kids are All Right
Author:
Diana Welch, Liz Welch, Amanda Welch, and Dan Welch
So what do you think about this book?
I loved hearing each of the Welch kids voices as they dealt with life without their parents. Since they were all split up and went off to live with different families, most people would think they'd lost touch. I think this separation only make them closer and their love for each other stronger. This is a great book and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The Glass Castle
Author:
Jeannette Walls
So what do you think about this book?
This book is hard to put into words, it would have to be my favorite of all time. After reading the first page, you'll be hooked. Jeannettes unconditional love for her parents is truely amazing. Especially since most of the time, they werent able to put food on the table and were often too caught up in their own hopes and dreams to notice their childrens need. Jeannette and her siblings upbringing was really a fight for survival and her story is one I will never forget.

Great summer reading book; readers can really relate to Frankenstein, the inventor. The beginning is a bit dry, but the story itself was surprisingly real and exciting.

Title of the book:
A Game of Thrones
Author:
George R. R. Martin
So what do you think about this book?
This book was really good. It felt very real to the time period. It is set in an earlier time period with knights and kings and shows the workings of a dysfunctional kingdom. Each chapter is from a different person's view so you get lots of different perspectives. This book is REALLY long, though, so make sure you have lots of time to read it.
