Join us on safari for the Summer Reading Program
How to READ on the WILD SIDE this summer :
1. Register at any Children’s Summer Reading Program table and receive a Safari Trail game sheet.
2. Start reading or listening. Prereaders are encouraged to use suggested Early Literacy activities for some of their "reading time". Some optional alternate activities are also suggested for readers.
3. Record reading and listening time on your game sheet.
4. Receive a prize for each completed Safari Trail at any Children’s Department.
5. Qualify for a raffle prize by completing a Safari Trail.

August 2 is the last day to bring in a completed trail for a prize and raffle entry.
Complete more trails and increase your chances of winning  the raffle prize!
In the Children's program, participants receive prizes and raffle tickets for books read or listened to. There are seven levels of prizes. Levels are reached by completing Safari Trails. Each Safari Trail will qualify you for a grand raffle prize (Nintendo DSi™) to be drawn during the first week in August.
